Using LEGO in Gestalt Play Therapy I

Using LEGO in Gestalt Play Therapy I

About the Course

Secure, attuned relationships are the foundation of effective therapy, and neuroscience affirms that playful, creative connections help children and adolescents heal and thrive. Children and adolescents who are struggling, hurt and traumatized need to re-establish feelings of safety and security before they can process and re-organize their complex emotions and experiences into better understanding and adjustments.

LEGO beyond being a beloved toy, can transform your clinical practice by bridging the gap between therapist and client. Leveraging on its universal appeal, LEGO can ignite clients’ imagination to find creative adjustments through collaborative and social play. This makes LEGO a compelling tool to add to your clinical practice, to build foundations for therapeutic change, one brick at a time.
