With the knowledge of counselling micro-skills, participants who progress to the Advanced level will be equipped with the counselling approach using Solution-Focused Counselling. Participant will understand the basic concepts, assumptions and the principles of solution-focused counselling and to apply SFBT skills to empower client in helping relationships.

  • Basic assumptions and tenets of SFBT
  • Key stages of SFBT
  • Different types of questions such as Miracle question, Exception question, Relationship question and Scaling question
