WELCOME TO ACADEMY OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
Academy of Human Development (AHD) was established in late 1998. We are a premier provider in training and consultancy for professionals to maximise their fullest potential. Our specialties lie in the counselling, psychotherapy and human service areas. With our many years of counselling experience and an extensive network built over the years, we are well established and highly recognised in the human and social service sectors. The services we offer are designed to increase effectiveness of individuals in their vocation and personal life. This will in turn enhance their personal capacity and maximise their potential. For the organisation, it will mean higher productivity and efficiency since its staff is the greatest and most important resource in the organisation.
In view of the increasing student enrolment in our counselling programmes as well as the growing need of international students desiring to attain recognised counselling qualifications, we set up School of Counselling in January 2007. The School of Counselling is registered with the Ministry of Education (registration no. 2558).
We are also a registered Family Life Ambassador with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS).

EDUCATION
We offer educational programmes, ranging from Certificate to Master levels, for students to achieve their academic pursuits. All our programmes are conducted on part-time study mode. Some of which are conducted under our subsidiary- School of Counselling.
Our Certificate programmes are done in collaboration with Fei Yue Counselling Services.
- Certificate in Practical Counselling (Basic)

We specialise in the counselling, psychotherapy and human service areas. Our counselling and counselling related programmes train students to become professional Counsellors and effective people-helpers.
TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES
We offer training and consultancy services for individuals, groups and organisations as follows:
- Counselling and counselling related workshops for Counsellors, Social Workers and people in the helping professions to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
- Enrichment programmes for personal development.
- Professional speakers and in-house customised courses tailored for organisations to meet their staff learning needs.
- Clinical Supervisors registered with and recognised by the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) are available to provide clinical supervision to counsellors and social workers.
- Consultancy services such as Work-life consultancy services and DISC personality profiling service to help individuals, organisations and their staff to unlock their potential and improve their effectiveness.
