The DISC Personality Certification introduces you to the field of human behavioural science in an easy to grasp presentation. The training focuses on the four personalities model of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance, called DISC in short. Participants will learn how to read people, communicate more effectively, appreciate perspectives of people, motivate, avoid unnecessary conflicts and increase effectiveness. The instrument is internationally used in the areas of human resource management, counselling, coaching, and consulting.


Course Objectives

This two-day accreditation training aims to provide you an understanding of the DISC profiling instrument where you can bring about an:

Who Should Attend

Counsellors, psychologists, social workers, mental health workers, mental health practitioners, teachers, principals, programme executives, youth workers, volunteers, and professionals who work with people, and are able to use this knowledge in helping people relate better with one another.

Award

Participants who complete this course will be accredited as a Certified Human Behaviour Consultant from the Leadership Institute of America and Management Centre of Asia.


Principal Trainer

Daniel Teo, President and CEO of Management Centre of Asia Pte Ltd, has more than 10 years of teaching, training, facilitating and coaching experience. He received his Master degree from Regent College, an affiliated member with The University of British Columbia, Canada. He is currently pursuing his second Master majoring in Organisational Psychology from the University of London. Daniel is appointed as the Principal Trainer by “The Leadership Institute of America”, an organisation which has trained America’s top companies including Walt Disney World, Motorola, AT&T, Acura, American Express, etc. Daniel has trained and certified well over 100 Organisational Leaders, Heads of Departments, Human Resource Personnel, Trainers and Counsellors in using and administering the ‘Uniquely You’ DISC Personality Profile System; conducted Team Building and Improving Your Task and People Skills sessions to non-profit Organisations, companies and schools.
